Corrugators in Action

Our state-of-the-art, 400-foot-long computer-operated corrugators form heated medium into flutes, then apply glue to the tips of the flutes and combine the rolls of linerboard into corrugated sheets.

The continuous running 1,000 feet-per-minute process produces a stronger board with less water and better control of warp and quality.

We can run short orders, almost as fast as long run orders, due to our instant order change capability

Our state-of-the-art 98” BHS corrugator ensures no high-low or misformed flutes, no wash boarding, and almost no cracked scores. We are a single source (we do not buy on the open market) using the best containerboard (paper) available. The corrugator does not stop or slow down, preventing waste or warp when doing an order change. This prevents delamination of the sheet.

ACC’s Capabilities as a Corrugated Manufacturer

Arizona Corrugated Container produces stock and custom corrugated containers, inserts, and master shippers, along with custom tooling, printing, die cutting, and on-time delivery. Besides flexographic (water-based) inks, ACC can supply dazzling litho-laminated or digital print boxes and displays.

In Arizona, we operate two facilities, which are only 110 miles apart, with state-of-the-art box-making machinery. One example of that machinery is a specialty folder gluer that allows us to run at high speeds, die cut boxes, trays, auto lock bottom boxes, tubes, and more.

Six die cutters and six printing presses in Arizona allow for fast set-up features, reliable quality control, and on-time deliveries.

In 2014, the 98” BHS corrugator was installed in Mesa, Arizona. It produces the best quality corrugated sheets and boxes. Proof? We are AIB (FDA) and ISO 9001 quality certified.
